Is there parking at any of the venues?

What Ticket passes are available?

Can I upgrade or change my ticket Pass?
No, unfortunately not. Tickets are non refundable and non exchangeable.
​
Will tickets be available to purchase on the day?
This is an intimate event, tickets are very limited likely to sell out before the event date so may not be available on the day.
​
Are the venues accessible?
All of the venues have accessible toilet facilities. The main convention venue, Supper venue and party venue are all fully accessible. The Prince Charles cinema has a short flight of stairs.

Will there be official licensed event merchandise?
Yes! More on this coming soon.

Can I bring my carer?
Yes, carers can attend the main convention (Saturday) for a discounted rate whilst accompanied by a full paying adult. Please bring proof that the person you are attending with is your carer such as a letter from your GP, carers allowance letter/statement or other official document. There are no concession tickets for Friday or Sunday. ​​​​​

Is there somewhere to get changed?
None of the venues have changing rooms but do have cloakrooms.

Is there somewhere to store my belongings?
Yes - there will be a cloakroom. ​​

Workshops, Talks & performances
​
Can I pre-book a workshop?
All paid workshops will be available to book and places are limited. Workshop booking will be available 2-4 weeks before the event date. For free workshops, no pre-booking necessary, just turn up at the scheduled time.

How many talks will there be?
We'll have a selection of fantastic talks, these are announced as soon as they are confirmed on our Facebook page and then added to the website here.

What's the opening ceremony?
The opening ceremony is a welcome to the event and will take place in the 'small hall' at the Saturday main convention. All special guests in attendance will be involved in the opening ceremony.

What's the big 80's movie quiz?
A battle of wits, two teams of special guests will go head to head in the ultimate challenge. Team Dragon and Team Unicorn.

Is the opening ceremony included in my general entry ticket?
No- this can be purchased separately from the ticket page.

Are the talks included in the ticket price?
Yes all talks are included in all ticket passes.

Special Guests
​
Who are the special guests?
Guests for the main convention are announced on our social media channels first and then added to the website here.
​
When are guests announced?
Guests are announced as soon as they have been confirmed subject to work commitments.
​
Will the special guests be signing autographs & doing selfies?
All of our special guests will be signing at the dedicated signing session times at the main event. Event Schedule will be available 2 weeks before the event date. Please note that special guests will not be signing or doing selfies at the Friday Film showing or on the Sunday.

Do I have to pay for autographs or selfies with special guests?
For the most part yes, but some guests may sign for free.

Cosplay
​
Can I attend the event in costume/cosplay?
YES please! we actively encourage it, however you don't have to if you would rather not.
​​
Do you have any rules about costumes, weapons, and props?
This is a family friendly event so your costume must be appropriate i.e. no nudity etc. You are not permitted to bring real weapons, fake weapons will be checked by our staff. If we feel that your props could cause damage to another individual, then it will not be allowed into the event.

Will there be a Cosplay Showcase?
Yes! There will be a showcase on the Saturday at the convention. You will be invited to come on stage and show off your costume & do a few lines or a 'bit' if you like. ​
​
How do I enter the Costume/Cosplay showcase?
No pre-registration is required, you can simply turn up at the time of the showcase to take part.

Will there be a prize?
We'll have a selection of prizes including fab merch from our friends at TruffleShuffle for the judges favourite. The criteria could be anything from most innovative to most silly/funny so anyone can enter!​​

Photography & Filming
Will I be photographed or filmed at the event?
Yes! You are more than likely to be filmed or photographed by our official media team and associated press. If you do not want to be filmed, please make one of our official event Media team aware when you get to the event.
​
Can I bring my own professional filming equipment?
Unless you have been given a press pass you are not allowed to bring professional filming equipment into the event. You can bring a camera.
​
Will panel talks & workshops be filmed?
